What is bioserica fiber
Coming from plants, Bioserica fiber is a kind of bio-based fiber which takes the glucose derived from corn starch as the main raw material to cultivate the selected microbes in large quantities, then extract a kind of environmentally friendly and 100pct biodegradable fibre called PHBV from these microbes, finally produce a new and special fiber through the spinning technology. It is in line with the concept of low carbon, eco-friendly and sustainable.
“Bioserica fiber” is a mixture of PHBV and PLA in a certain proportion, then fused for spinning. The fiber blended with PHBV and PLA is superior to pure PLA fiber in heat resistant and soft, it can be used to make healthy and eco-friendly textiles.
THE ANTIBACTERIAL PRINCIPLE OF BIOSERICA FIBER
The PHBV in Bioserica fiber can destroy the cell wall of bacteria and the cell membrane of virus, let the content in them released and break the metabolic balance, So inhibit the bacteria breeding and kill the virus to achieve antibacterial and antiviral effect.
